I make paintings about the constant process of discovering and creating oneself. Dialogue between past, present and future selves through painting manifests in dramatically colorful, emotive works exploring themes of memory, identity, performance, connection and spirituality. ​

Beyond painting, I write about arts and culture for the Charleston City Paper with a focus on highlighting emerging local artists.
